Project Overview
WeWork at 600 Congress Ave needed a complete electrical renovation of their 15th and 16th floor office spaces. The existing layout of individual rooms was being converted into a modern open-concept workspace, requiring complete demolition of the existing electrical systems and a full rewire of both floors.
Texas Electric and Light handled the entire electrical scope - from demo of the old wiring to installation of new circuits, outlets, and lighting designed for the new open floor plan. Working in an occupied building on Congress Ave required careful coordination to minimize disruption to other tenants.

Occupied Building
Working in a high-rise on Congress Ave with other tenants required careful scheduling, dust control, and coordination of material deliveries through the building's freight elevator.
Complete Layout Change
Converting from individual offices to open workspace meant the entire electrical layout had to be redesigned - not just updated. Power and lighting had to be repositioned for the new floor plan.
Multi-Floor Coordination
Working on two floors simultaneously required managing crews and materials across both levels while maintaining consistent progress on the renovation timeline.
