1872 Golf Club Complete Electrical Buildout

Project Overview

1872 Golf Club in Georgetown, TX came to Texas Electric and Light as a completely empty shell space at 5373 Williams Dr. The owner needed a single electrical contractor who could handle everything — from bringing in the electrical service all the way through final trim and fixture installation. We were contracted as the sole electrical subcontractor for the full buildout.

The facility houses multiple golf simulator bays, a full-service bar and lounge area, a pro shop, and back-of-house support spaces. Each area had distinct electrical requirements — simulator bays needed dedicated high-amperage circuits for the projectors and equipment, the bar required commercial-grade power and POS infrastructure, and the lounge demanded a carefully designed ambient lighting scheme that fit the upscale aesthetic the owner was going for.

One of the key challenges on this project was sequencing. We coordinated closely with the GC and other trades to rough-in ahead of framing and drywall, then return for trim after paint — a tight schedule that required clear communication and no surprises. We pulled all required permits through the City of Georgetown and passed all inspections on the first visit.

The project was completed on schedule in 2025. 1872 Golf Club is now open and operating as one of the premier indoor golf entertainment venues in the Georgetown/Round Rock corridor.
