Project Overview
Texas Electric and Light was selected to handle the complete electrical tenant improvement for Buckle's new location at Round Rock Premium Outlets. Buckle is a national retail brand with high standards for store presentation — their lighting design, fitting room electrical, and point-of-sale systems all require precise installation to hit brand specifications.
This is a full shell-to-finish retail buildout, taking the space from a bare shell to a fully operational Buckle store ready for opening. We are coordinating with the general contractor and Buckle's national facilities team throughout the project to ensure everything meets their brand standards and the outlet center's landlord requirements.
Round Rock Premium Outlets is a high-traffic retail destination, and Buckle's electrical systems need to perform flawlessly from day one — from the storefront lighting that draws shoppers in to the fitting room circuits and the POS systems that process every transaction.

Project Considerations
National Brand Electrical Standards
Buckle maintains specific electrical standards across all their locations — fixture types, circuit layouts, and lighting levels that define the brand experience. Our installation must match their planogram exactly while meeting local code requirements.
Outlet Center Landlord Requirements
Premium outlet centers have their own MEP standards and approval processes on top of city permits. Coordinating both simultaneously requires early submission and proactive communication with the landlord's facilities team.
Opening Timeline Pressure
Retail openings at outlet centers have firm dates tied to marketing commitments. Our electrical scope has to stay ahead of the GC schedule to avoid being the critical path item that delays opening.
